HARMLESS @ SusChem-ExBo-Meeting

BNN team is continuously spreading the word about HARMLESS project and its great achievements so far. Another very high-level-opportunity could be used during the European Technology Platform of Sustainable Chemistry (SusChem) executive board meeting, at which BNN as coordinator of the Austrian national technology platform SusChem-AT has a seat in the board. The meeting took place on Dec. 16th in Brussels, during which Andreas Falk (BNN) highlighted the HARMLESS project and its latest activities, specifically discussing it with the Board members e.g. Dorota Pawlucka (Covestro) and Jens Hamprecht (BASF) (ref. to the photos).

Reflecting on the achievements, speaking about the specific case studies that are implemented in real-life industrial innovation processes, made the colleagues very interested in future collaborations. A key learning of these interactions is, that projects are super relevant, the more they focus specifically on circularity aspects, as well as applying digitalization (e.g. of processes) where it gains benefits from a holistic perspective. In both areas, the intensification of the interaction between SusChem and Safety/sustainability projects like HARMLESS [i.e., via the NSC] will help to find solutions for the challenges we face.
