HARMLESS @6th International Seminar on Aerogels
The aerogel community invited scientists, engineers, students, and industrial partners working with or interested in learning about aerogels to the premiere international conference on the subject. The 6th edition of the International Seminar on Aerogels included all topics related to aerogels including synthesis, characterization, and applications in various fields.
Between 28th and 30th of September 2022, more than 200 people from academia and industry joint together in Hamburg (Germany) to participate in the interesting seminar with 53 oral presentations and 64 posters.
HARMLESS was well represented in the project with Veronica Di Battista (BASF), who showed the work that is being developed in the WP6 of project on providing safe and sustainable by design guidance for advanced insulation materials. This was done during her poster session and speed talk, under the title “Assessing the dust released from commercially relevant inorganic Aerogel Mats by simulating different occupational exposure scenarios”.
