HARMLESS at ACS Spring 2024

The ACS Spring 2024 took hybrid place from 17 to 21 March 2024 in New Orleans (US). Under the topic “Many flavours of Chemistry”, the event attracted approx. 13000 stakeholder (mainly from academia, but also industry and regulators). This American Chemical Society meeting showcases represented the entire breath of research in chemistry, with uncountable parallel sessions with presentations by graduate students, academic faculty and professionals.

Our colleague Wendel Wohlleben from BASF had an important role as initiator and chair of the session “Sustainable polymers design: advancing understanding and collaboration”, with the main aim of transferring the HARMLESS’ concepts to advanced polymers, and transferring assessment methods from inorganic MCNM to MC-polymer issues.
